114APRIL 23 mem Sat 1910 Cooler & rain today - Poured tonight! J.G. told me all about the St. Louis conference. Yesterday (2 of the principal here) It comes to nothing. They have a new attorney & new tactics but won't sell out for less than $93,000. Mrs. A went up to see the children. Tonight I saw "St. Lewis" at Hippo. Frieda has notified the Pringles that she wants the flat - below us. Arno was over. Read "Everybody's" & did accounts tonight. [illegible] talked to me about Jack

Sun 1911 Nice chilly April day. Woke up at 5 & finished "Peter Ibbetson" (my favorite novel) for the "seventh time". Claude's to dinner & the dear babies. Then to the office to develop 6 good pictures today and last Sunday - wrote all the evening. Tues 1912 A regular blizzard during the night & early this morning out till sun came out later - tho' the wind stayed strong & cold. It was a lovely night - mother & I went out to Claude's (lonesome) house to a nice dinner & he rode down with us afterward. To bed rather early - front room. Claude to Supervise the Rochester Art Gallery

Wed 1913. Rain in till night & this morning. Mrs. Ramsdell is going to build a house for Jim! Poor little Chan had a big adnoid taken out today - I went down there tonight. Claude went to New York. The Rowe's are going to move May 1. Thurs 1914 Nice bright day. Walked down this a.m. Went to banks &c. down town this noon and lunched with Chattie at the White Kitchen.
