A new quilt Miss
Hilda Brayer came to the office. Took some lovely double pink
poppies to Father

feel first rate. Bridgeman was beaming. His baby girl -
Ruth Eleanor arrived yesterday (Park Ave.
hospital ) He is 23 & his mother 46! Lunched with
Bess & Mary& came right home tonight. Mother & I came later from the H.
& we had a late supper, sat on the piazza, sewed & read
"The Depot Master" - Bed early!
Tues 1911
Still hot. The streets full of Shriners
decorations & illuminations &c. &c. Tonight Mother & I went to
Doyle's - on Fred
's invitation & saw the big parade (50 bands & all sorts of
costumes) Queer stunts before and after. Late home. Lunched at
Sibley's
with Mother.
Thurs 1912
A trifle cooler. Claude decided to go to
N.Y. tomorrow night. He told me all about Mrs. Jno McCaulay. (Eugenie Julier). Her father, mother, sister & brother I
shopped till late. A "spirella" corset ! And in the evening didn't do much but
talk to
Mother & Miss Mac D.
Sewed and read a little. [illegible] has bought the [illegible] home.
