339NOVEMBER 26 Sat. 1910
Cloudy Busy morning. This
noon Mother & I "celebrated" our
JRS inheritance by a dinner at
Duffy's & shopped all the p.m.
Saw Edna & Reba &c. Then I went to the
Hippo. & Maggie Mackinnons about
my coat and came home to an early supper - wrote three letters &
then read aloud to Mother from
"Everybodys" &c.
Sun 1911
This noon when we got in the
car for Cro'nest the [illegible] &
Freys got out & inside were Nana, Henry, Char &
Frances coming from S.S. She stayed to dinner & all p.m.
& had a grand time. Mr. Rogers there. I had coffee
with N. & Mrs. Ramsdell about
4:30 & then went over to Mary Macs
(just back from N.Y.) The Millers
were there & I didn't stay long. We spent most of the p.m. in the
lovely new playroom. Read to- night.
Tues 1912 see mem
Some better but still cold. Claude got
back from N.Y.Jo has invited Letitia & the boys to the Christmas Revels at
Briar - Cliffe Dc 14 & 15! Tonight Bess & Mary came up & brought their work & we had a nice
grate fire. I gave them a lovely Frederic Remington picture
(to be framed) for Christmas.
Wed. 1913
Busy of course. Hunted
dresses at noon. Saw
Bob taking hers back to the dressmaker.
Lunched at Manhattan. Staid sending "Primers"
&c till 8:15 & was very tired (& cross?)
when I got home. It is growing colder. Will Kingsley went
home to Syracuse in the p.m.
Marjorie Gilmore to be married tomorrow.

A nice note from Irene welcomed in a glorious
Thanksgiving morning. Henry
came at 11 & we went to Maplewood & walked
from there to Van Dyck's. Mother, Claude &
Eugenie & Chan
came later (by carriage) & we had such an
elegant & delicious dinner in the dining room. (the
meads, [illegible] &c. too) The boys played
by the brook all the p.m. tho' I took them over to
Knowlton's to see Nana - who wasn't there. Home at dark. Phone talks toFlorence, Irene & Alice
Wolfe.
