326NOVEMBER 13 Sun 1910 Made pts &c. this a.m. We went to Claude's to dinner & then brought the children down with us (Nana went to church) Gurdon & Marguerite were here & we had a very jolly time in front of the fire. The boys were fascinating, and so good. G. & M. staid to supper. Wet and horrid outside. Mon 1911. Very cold this a.m. & all day, in fact. Lunched with Bess & Mary at Sibley's. Was very busy indeed till 6 pm. Going home via. JBA's with a bill &c. Tonight Mother & I had a nice grate fire. I pasted, read aloud & tended cat! &c. Wed 1912 These days are early - Lunch down town and we are reading "Mother but dear Mother is fine Thurs. 1913. A Soggy day. Lunched at the Manhattan! Jim brought me up tonight. I went to Mrs. Wetmore to borrow Century and had quite a visit. Began reading "The White Linen Nurse" to Mother & Miss Kingsley tonight. "The Primer

Fri 1914 Windy. Lunched with Florence (Mrs. Miller a little while) She told me about her Father who died last Saturday. He left them 20 years ago. C.U. phoned & Irene. I met I. on East Avenue - in the wind - and we walked ' way out to Brighton together. A lovely walk in the dark & cold. Played flinch with Mother tonight.
