284OCTOBER 2 Sun 1910 Got up late & staid home by the fire all day. Visited with Helen
 all the morning & had a latish dinner. Soon after three Letitia, Henry, Chan, Adelaide & the dog came, & later Meta. The children were so sweet and funny. A. went over to see the Twinnies. Sat & talked later & had a later supper & a still later going to bed. Mon 1911 Went with Mrs. Baker, Lura, & Nellie Mac to see the Kinemacolor pictures of the Coronation &c. tonight. They are really wonderful. Claude home tired but had a fine time Wed Thurs - 3 1912 Lura had Bess & Mary tonight for a "shower". Edith & Mary & Nellie Mac were there too. We had a real jolly time. I gave them some cross stitched towels. Lunched with Lura this noon & we went to Duffy's shopping. It poured tonight when we came from the "party" Mother went to Geneseo. Thurs 1913. Rain - a little - at night. Cloudy all day. Lura & Mrs. B. moved to 90 Kenilworth Terrace. Lunched with Edith at Duffy's and saw Florence there. This is Mr. Stern's birthday. Amelie's wedding day & the Jewish new year. Went & way over on Jay St. to Maher's to see Marguerite tonight. She moves to Muir Ave. tomorrow. Fri. 1914 Never remembered "Morland's" birthday, and here he told us the other day! Jim is sick & distressed. He ruptured himself carrying Mrs. Ramsdell's sister upstairs the first of the week! I didn't eat lunch (!) Wrote Rogers specifications read &c tonight. We started the furnace 1st time & sent 24 (?)
