Edith in Duffy's so she & I went shopping to- gether ( mother to a reception) went to Lura's - Sibley's
for ice cream & streets very full of excursionists, went to the
Hippodrome later tonight Mrs. Arnold
& James called - good of figures on
the Frey house
&
Jas. just back from
Annapolis. Our boys got "cycles"!

Beautiful day. Went over on
Marguerite piazza a few minutes
this a.m. James
's auto & returned our puzzles. His ankle still bad. He
can't step on it. Claude's to dinner.
Chan got a sliver in his finger &
Nana took him over to the hospital to have it
got out. I read "Pandoras Box" outdoors & "the Pied
Piper" to
Henry - Walked in the park late & came back & tended house
while Letitia went to church with the
"major".

Lunched with Mrs. BakerLura & Capt.
Gridley (quick) Went to the Kodak exhibit with
Mothertonight. It was fine. Talked with Lew Jones.
Wed. 1913
Lunched with "Captain" (just back from
Boston) & with Edith (just starting on her vacation) at Sibley's. It was quite jolly. Miss
Hoesey (E's
friend) is
going back home to Staten Island to live on Tuesday.
Thurs. 1914
Wettish. Jim has been home most of the week (sickness
& vacation combined) went home this noon! Tonight down to
Ruth Hubbard Wolfe's's to see her lovely baby things
stopped at Edith's
(with Mother) & then to
Convention Hall
