336NOVEMBER 23 Wed 1910 Warmer. Walked down with Dolores. This noon went to Arthur Flack's studio with Miss F. & Dickinson. Rained tonight. I wrote, read &c. Claude &c had a dinner party. L.W. Rogers (theosophist) is stopping there. Thurs 1911 YWCA donation Lura, Mrs. B. Chat Mother Letitia, Henry, Chan & I all ate together. Chan tho't "Gran'ma looked pretty with ribbons on" (her cap) Mrs. Arnold was "Martha Washington". Went up to Claude's to supper & rode down with Mr. R. Went to "Bobention Hall" for Mother. It began to pour and Mrs. Barton took us home in a carriage. Sat up too late. Sat. 1912 A lovely day. Coralyn Grant came down & lunch I with me at Sibley's and then we went out to Sea Breeze (Meta & Amy Eyres on car) & walked the railroad to the D-E Park. The air was soft & still. The woods all brown. Went by lower path. Met Edith Scott & Florence McLaughlin as we came out. Walked out west road & way around through the "hogback" back to the Boulevard - very lovely - just got a car & were home at about six. Bed early. Lydia

Sun 1913 A rainy windy disagreeable night - didn't sleep much but met the boys on the car & started about 8:30 for the falls via. the falls Road & Lockport! It turned out a lovely day & we had a fine time. Got there about 11:40 lunched at a restaurant. Walked to Prospect Park (it was cold &i Then got a nice Englishman to drive for 2 hours or so - all over goat island, getting off at Luna
at Horse Shoe & the 3 sisters. Then across the Bridge & up to the top of a hotel - to [illegible] Via. Park & Inspiration Pt. (Henry got out every where) & then up the American side to the Power Houses! The boys were entranced with them. Back to lunch & home 4:17 via Buffalo [illegible] 6:55. (see mem)
Mon 1914 I did have a warm welcome at the office (Jim not down) "Gambled" with H.M.S and at 4:30. Irene came beaming - we spent an hour at Kline's & I went over there this evening & sat in her room. She seems brimming over with love for me! - How strange I had a nice lunch with Florence today, & some of the time with Bess & Mary too. I was exhausted tonight.
