Walked down with Marguerite this a.m. It was beautiful still
earlier - snow stuck to everything got cold again tonight J.W. went to N.Y. this a.m.
& I had a nice long day at my blanks Mrs. Tappan
(CFB'snew draughtsman's wife)
& baby have come. Took a shirt waist in to Mrs.
Short's after supper. Then
Father read to us - Cats very cute. Home to lunch Mr. Hanna told me his
tale of "Anne" & I advise him quite extensively on
girls generally & later he apologized to Alice!! I rather like him.
Fri. 1911
A sort of perturbed day.
Ch. of Com
dinner to- night & ClaudeJ.W. "Rob" & Mr. Greene went. The City
Beautiful - was exploited - Station drawings hung in lobby and CFB's menu design used. Tonight I went to the
Hippodrome & tonight read a little & went
to bed earlier.
Mr. Forbes was in about a house.

The coldest ever! from 2 to 9
below!
Mother came to lunch at Sibley's with me and then we went to the
matinee, "Rebecca of Sunny brook Farm" & then to Sibley's to dinner! Saw Frank D. & Zoe
Parker
(who also went to the play later.) Mother
and I came home played "flinch" and I
finished "A Likely story" Bed so sleepy!
Bess H. lunched with me.
Mon 1913.
Went to
Shubert's "What Happened to Mary" (Olive
Wyndham) with
Minette Enders tonight - top gallery - good time - egg
phosphates &c afterward & walked home pretty late - good time.
Tues. 1914
Nice cold winter weather. We are reasonably busy at office & it
is pleasant & nice. Some way I always work hard!
Nights I read aloud &c. Lunch with my friends at Sibley's now.
