I lunched with Bess & Mary at Sibley's. Busy day. Addressed envelopes tonight.
Election Day - & a Democratic one! With all wanted to bet but
I wouldn't bet against Dix, (& was right.)

Sent Marguerite a birthday crysanthum (Con's birthday too) This p.m. I took
Henry & Motherto "The Piper" (Edith Wynne
Mattismon Frances Wilhemina were there & the
Frey's &
Twinniesn &c. Henry
was a dear. We came down stairs after the third act, but staid through. I took
him home. Channie had "a cold and a new
train of cars". Came home & read and cross stitched. &c. Claude is getting up a luncheon & a
dinner party for the Hampdens.
Fri. 1912
Home to lunch for a change.
Flowers for Marguerite. Mother far from well especially toward night.
I don't do much but home & business nowadays. Con's birthday.

Our lovely "Indian-autumn"
turned into rain this noon when Jim
& I were taking missionary things to the Church in the "B9946"
Ford!
Miss "Ruth" Kingsley had breakfast with us. Went to
"Within the Law" at Shubert this p.m.
and then did some shopping for Mother.
Ending up at Fields with a ride home in the rain. Wrote &
read aloud this p.m. Miss K.
unpacked & then went to Palmyra till tomorrow pm.

A rainy day. We were going to
Van Dyk's but instead Miss U. went to the Rochester
with me and we staid till 3:30 talking. Then went down to 363
Lake Ave had dinner together and one whole evening of
talk. The message came & N.Y. is put off
until Monday, the 16th.
