It didn't rain but was gloomy
except for a few sun streaks in the afternoon. Picked out
"Stella" times this a.m. & after lunch went up to see my
dear babies & then
Father. Nanawent our & I took them in the express cart to
Edna's for a visit & then up
thro' Lender &c to the Park & the
rhododendrones & azaleas. Later went to Lura's to supper. Saw Helen.

Some cooler. Home to a simple
lunch & walked down with Alice B.
at night. (Leslie
at noon)Henry was lovely this a.m. He & Chan dear came to the office later. Also Mr.
Brielgun
& his baby. Tonight did one of Margueritecut up puzzles - a partly - after a chat on her
piazza.

These days rather uneventful.
Rain in evening a little while & am reading and play flinch with
Charlotte and Frank

Real summer. Tonight
Mother & I went over to Homer
St. (30)
to call on Jack, Fred & Clara
home. They have a lovely new home & we had a very
pleasant evening there.
Fri 1914
Fine! Lunched alone, but
tonight Ruth
& I went down to the new
YWCA, to supper (Mrs Clark) & then home
by way of the Bay. Put up lunch for
tomorrow afterward.
