322NOVEMBER 9 Wed 1910 Snow today. Claude went off this a.m. to lecture at Cornell School of Archi- tecture on "Composition" Geo. Humphrey went too. Mother & I came down & hunted for Harry's wedding present today - got a tray with Jap Stenciling. & lunched at Sibley's - late. Went down to 143 Conkey Ave in the pouring rain tonight. Lura & Edith were there too. Very tired & sleepy. Thurs. 1911 A fine day at last - after many of the other kind. Jim awfully late. He came by himself, for the first time. Home to lunch Tried my dress on tonight & Mother liked it. Sewed - wrote &c. Walter and "Mab" Hampden came to Claude's tonight - to stay till Saturday - when they go on to Chicago & to the west in RH Davis "Blackmail". Sat 1912 Nice day - but showers. Shopped this p.m. then came home & had a chat with Marguerite ("Edith & Willard Morris") Bath. Sibley'sto supper with Lydia
and "Years of Discretion" at the Lyceum with L. the Mac Arthurs & Lura. We walked home. Had quite a day!
Sun 1913. A rainy day. Dinner at Cro'nest (Bessie
& Helen
) Started to walk back out & poured so I went into Mrs. Ramsdell's and had quite a visit. Miss Kingsley came back from Palmyra in the evening & we had & a nice grate fire and sat around it and talked.
Mon 1914 Cool. C.U. 'phoned & Mr. S. tho't I'd gone "to the dentist". I was in the booth so long! Mother & I dined with Mrs. Rowe & Marguerite(her birthday yesterday) Irene came tonight & we went to Klines & sat over chocolate for an hour. Sewed later - very tired.
