327NOVEMBER 14 Mon 1910. Reinhardt was in & he &
CFB changed the grades a good deal. I
finished my draft of the Specification Embroidered towels & read
"Friendly Stars" tonight. sewed & wrote. The boys were in
the office today.
Some warmer but more snow at night Emich met Mother &
Miss McLaughlin
at Sibley's- She told some
experiences with Mr. Stone. Tonight I read
Arnold Bennett's "Old river's Tale" - very amusing
- a fine description & a funny one of a fashion plate - now hot bath &
bed!

Cooler and pleasanter.
Marguerite
brought her work up tonight and we had a nice visit. After she
went I finished the second chapter of "The White Linen
Nurse" and of course we were late to bed!
Sat 1914.
A lovely day. Lunched with
C.U. at Sibley's
Took a heavenly walk with Irene out
through "Windmill Valley". Gathered some lovely pansies on
the Penfield road (She is a
"Pansy-girl) Whirled up to Claude's for
dinner & back to dress, & then to K. Fichtners's
to Florence, Irene, Cider later Edith
S. Much "persiflage" in which I held my own. She brought us all
home in the Franklin. Great fun, but fatiguing.
