The Twinnies
are seven years old today & had a very
nice "whooping- cough" party with all the neighbour children. I
lunched at the Cafeteria went Mary
& she was delighted with the Portage
pictures, which came today. Went to Cro'nest
tonight & slept in Jo's room.
She & Claude are
in Buffalo & Letitia
alone. Henry coughed badly for awhile.
July 15 Thurs.
A lovely morning. Breakfasted in the porch with Henry. It was hot downtown. Went to Cro'nest again to dinner. Took
Channie's picture as he is 19 months old
today. "Jane MacArthur Whitten"
was born (she was to be "Billy") We
had ice cream for supper & put the babies to bed &c. & about 8
Claude
& Jo came in a big Auto with the
Spragues (all the way from
Buffalo). Home about 8:30.
July 16 Friday
Warm. Lunched with Mary D. at
Sibley's. Theatre Tonight. It showered &
was cooler & I had a nice bath before supper
July 17 Sat
Fine day but a busy morning. Mr. Anderson
and saw an auto-race. Tonight & went up to see Chatty - just home from the Coast & the
