Dark soggy day. Father & Mother went to church & I fussed around, wrote &c. After dinner went up to Cro'nest and staid till almost nine! Played with Chandler upstairs and Henry too & then we all went down and Claude & Henry did Athletic stunts & Letitia made some soap bubble goo and we all blew bubbles. Claude blew his full of smoke & they were beau- tiful - looked solid with iridescent outside Henry was delighted and learned to blow them too. Claude went off to call on Miss Crapsey and to Susan Hoyt's to supper & Henry & I finished the bubbles (H. trying to make Chandler blow!) He fed him whipped cream today at dinner! Letitia & I put the children to bed. They were dears. Chandler all undressed was too sweet & so was Henny-penny. Each has his own room now. Then L. & I had a nice little tea party in the kitchen and she told me a lot about the Taylor children. Louise
(now 19) and Ann
(nearly 17) Roman
& Jim
(younger) & their Chums, Sibley Watson, Livingston Bentley (one of six Bentley boys - next Watson's) and Erling Sibley. Walked home. It was beautiful
