then Herma & her father. During the ceremony Meta & her father stood one side and Mrs. Williams & Sophie the other. Then we all raised the bride & she and the family (all but Frieda & the children) went out to the big dining room table. There were two round tables in the 2nd parlor (Frieda, Pomona Dickinson, Laura Taylor & Anita Flint at one; and Dolores

, Cora Knapp, Miss Fogarty & I at the other) and in the back parlor the 5 children, Davis & Esther and Dossenbach and two musicians. It was a jolly dinner. Lots of good music and the children singing (school days: "Smarty!" Harrigan. Afraid to go home in the dark. &c. &c.) Papa's poem to Herma was read &c. &c. Little Margaret West occasionally before & after and "Gro-pa" some. We had bullion, fish croquettes, turkey, lettuce, tomato salad & cream cheese, coffee, ice cream, kisses & brides cake & lots of fixings of Frieda, Pomona & Sophie went to the attic & dressed for the ball game and just before Herma & Lyons went up stairs. I took their pictures - tho' it was very cloudy & had been raining a little. The girls fixed streamers, hearts, rice, confetti, old shoes & a cow-bell
