I went to Cro'nest just before Claude
left for Mrs. Danforth's. Chandler
was lovely - but Henry quite silent. I took him for a ride in the go- cart over
to the park. He seemed to enjoy it but never said a word till just as we got
home. Miss G.
is very nice - but she isn't Letitia. Called on Marguerite
on the way up. She's been pretty sick a couple of days with neuralgia or
rheumatism.
Meta came over a little while tonight. They
are delighted with the pictures. Wrote.
Dec. 3 Wed.
Went in to the Hospital Donation tonight with Miss Bradshaw. Miss Bacon says
they made a lot of calendar blotters - because Char did last year. Saw many people I knew - but oh! It did bring
back last year - tho' now its in Convention Hall.
Dec. 4 Thurs.
Have begun shopping & to Karle &
Rhines
about my new green dress & to the milliners for a new hat. Stayed down
to "Lots" with Lura tonight.
Went to the Bijou
& then up to Nellie Mac's to hear all
about her grand trip to N.Y. over Thanksgiving.
