Nov. 26. Fri. "The day after". Gilmore in Northampton & I rather busy. Came home at noon & interviewed carpenter &c. Mrs. Rowe came in tonight with a big puzzle - & we had cider &c. Marguerite in Dansville for Thanksgiving. Nov. 27. Sat. Pleasanter & milder. Claude wants me to come & work for him "at a big salary" (anyway when he moves) So does Jim. I shall consider it seriously. The Cutlers are getting on my nerves - & everybody's. Lunched at Sibley's with Mary Belle, "Jacques" & Mrs. Spencer & shopped for bath room fittings. Hippo. & more shopping tonight. Nov. 28. Sun. Lovely day. Home all day "receiving" &c. Alice Bradshaw at 11, Mrs. Leach to look at house at 12:30. Letitia & the children

later. Then Mary & Nellie Mac. Then Chattie & Helen! Of course they all went thro' the new house (by sections) and all approved it very much. Mary & Nellie gushed about another lovely flat on Union St. - which turned out to be one of Claude's also. Finished big puzzle wrote, took measurements, made prints & rented the house! (Meta closed the bargain at night.) Mon. Nov 29 A nice day - but a full one. Bank & Sibley's at noon - Scrantom's &c. Father read tonight. Tues Nov. 30 Fine mild day. Two men moved our flat (10 tons for $5.00!) Went to Roch. Gas & Co. & jollied the girl about a meter & then to Wheeler Green's
about fixture hanging. Mother has 2 men busy. Worked on Marguerite's puzzle in dining room tonight.
