today. Very interesting. Miss Flack got back from vacation at home & Miss Bradshaw left for her second at 4th Lake. Tonight went with Mary
to see Bert Lytell in "When we were Twenty-one"
Mrs. Mosher has invited Mary
& Capt. Gridley to Duazyupleze
for 2 weeks! July 21 Wed. Rainy p.m. Wrote a note to B.L.
telling him his character was much too old last night & why. Learned later that he changed it! July 22 Thurs. Rainy day. Went to Hippodrone & Home of the Pipe Organ tonight. How it did pour. Henry "telephoned to Aunt Maisie". He also used his high chair for a bathtub - turned on the water. "Shaved" pretended to put on his hat &c & said he was "going to Buffalo". He "pretends" a good deal nowdays. July 23 Friday Cleared off fine. Lunched with Mary
at Cafeteria & went & saw "Captain" about Ojibway journey. Frank Davis is going too - for a week. Tonight went to Convention Hall again - with Mother - & then to Reeds for ice cream & sherbet phosphate! It was pretty hot tonight, but lots of people at C. Hall.
The photographers' convention are having a great time. July 24 Sat. A cloudy and a busy morning, but a lovely afternoon. Lunched at the Cafeteria with Mary Belle & Pearl Crawley met us there & we took the car to Glen Haven and there took a boat on the sparkly bay up to Sea Breeze. It was breezy & the water splashed us & some "cullud gents" sang " Yip di
