Lunched alone at Cafeteria & went to
"Bijou Dream"! Was invited to go to
Fairport
tonight with the girls & their "shuffer"
but couldn't. Mame came just the wrong moment to ask
J.W.C.Claude came in tonight.
Thurs - Fri. Sept. 24Warm
Lunched at Sibley's with girls. Went
down to Edith's tonight. The Likely's (&
auto) came. Mae & John (& Auto) & Will & Elsie
(& auto!) Saw some fine pictures Will took.
Sat. Sept. 26
Another smoky day. Went up to CFB's
tonight & saw my dear babies put to bed. Henry's too funny in the bath tub with all his frogs & ducks &
turtles &c. The black birds (be - bees) on the bathroom paper please him
& one cut off by the tail he calls "Bebee brokaw" (broken)
Mr.
& Mrs. Mason called & we had tea.
Sun. Sept. 27
had been far behind. It was rather fine watching. Had lemonade,
saw the Likely's & others I knew - at 5:30 or so went down
to Cro'nest
in time to see Chandler cuddled in bed with
his
