before dinner - up the west road, thro' the woods - across to the East road &c. (Mrs. W. was so sorry we didn't see the "crazy house" We had another big dinner. A walk to the woods - which were lovely, but mosquitoey. Sat by the creek a long time, played croquet (not I) had an early supper and a lovely ride home at sunset. Marguerite was over later.
