Went up to my dear Boy's this p.m. and
took little Chandler's first pictures - 2 months
old! and cut a lock of his hair - The first (fogged) picture is the best.
Henry was a darling and very "talkative" -
The sweet - I didn't stay so very long, but went over to Lura's
and spent the evening. Had supper &c. and
a very
good time. This morning I went to our church (the first time since
alterations) with Father & Mother
- (Didn't like it)

A real wintry week - James in
Pittsburgh (about the competition) & New
York & Thursday - his 26th birthday - he gave a dinner to the
Alembic
people (8) which he cooked himself. Claude
went & Fred
