Dec. 1 Weds. New transfer system today & lots of (unnec- essary) howling. Fine sunny day & very busy. Our meter in & fixtures hung. I hung pictures tonight & the boys
moved their Dec. 2. Thurs. clothes &c. Still summery. Ideal moving weather. Staid home and interviewed people to buy furniture. Bossed men & women - and carpenters & meter men &c. &c. We "moved" for our beds went - At dusk Letitia & the children came. Channie & "Wee Wee" as he calls Henry. They trotted around the old house & Hemeny "moved" Gran'mas rubbers & they trotted around the new one in great glee. The last thing I brought over the kittens - who acted exactly as the children did! We had supper at 22 & the boys
are quite settled! Dec. 3 Fri. Still fine weather. Hard day for Mother. I had an easy day in the office however, went to Sibley's to eat and to the Hippodrome later - to sleep (?) well I think I did "lose myself" once. I worked "fixing the house" tonight. Dec. 4 Sat. It sprinkled a little but turned out fine. Certainly we couldn't have better weather. Came home to lunch. Had a nice little visit with Lura at 5:20. Fixed books in new cases all evening. Dec. 5 Sun. Fine. Were all tired - but busy. Mother was too tired to go to church - but couldn't find her bonnet anyway (it was on the refrigerator!) Claude was in Buffalo, but we all went to Cro'nest to dinner and had a lovely ride afterward Chan & I on the front seat & Mother, Nanna, We Wee & "Backy" inside. Out South Ave
