Henry's real birthday. A thunder-shower at
noon (after a nice morning) but Papa
& I started out on a walk we'd planned, stopped at Cro'nest to kiss little Hal (who was charming) & have a jolly
game with
Chandler while it rained outside. He's a dear
baby. When it stopped, we went on thro' Highland Park (which
Papa enjoyed) & Highland
Ave. & so out to Gracie
Bingham's. It was clear & fine when we got there & had such
a nice time with "Sally
, Grace, Mr. Lewis
& "Percy".
Sally has a nice Kodak & a book of pictures.
They go to Mansfield - by auto - tomorrow. I had some lovely
poses of Dane Meredith & the Kittens - but not light
enough to succeed. They took us back to the park by auto. (via
Elmwood Ave.) and we walked over, finding Mother, &
Mrs. Wilkinson & Mal at Claude's. They wanted me
to come to supper, so I hurried home & changed & went. Had a charming
time with
Harry & the girls. The
Wilson's have gone.
Mrs W. wasn't feeling well & Jo &
Harry both have colds.
