Got up early & got breakfast. Made bed (Papa washed dishes) fixed Mother in
my room - Planned her lunch for Papa to get.
Went to the cafeteria to lunch & then home to see
her & came home & got supper at night - going to bed early -
Papa is reading her "Joseph Vance"

& I'm enjoying it again. Thursday night she made me go to
Frank Davis's to dinner (I was invited
Sunday) to celebrate Chattie's & Helen
birthday's (12th & 19th) Didn't stay late
Apr. 17 Fri.Mary Ward here today - to clean &c and
wait on Mother - She got us a nice diner. I
lunched with Bess at Sibley's - This noon
evening went over to the station a minute or so to meet Mary Mac - Here from Sunday!
Apr. 18. Sat.
She came in today & wants me to come up tonight. Lunched with Bess,
Flory Benham
& Kitty Crichton at the cafeteria. It
poured tonight. Mother
some better but upstairs
Apr. 19 Sun.
Pouring rain this morning for Easter! I got breakfast &c. and
Father went to church. He & I both went to Claude's to dinner & I sent Mother ice cream &c. I tried to take some
pictures - Chandler in his first short
dresses and Henry with
Mrs. Watson's
Easter lily! Took my nephew out for
a ride in his go-cart - (which he enjoyed) Home to Mother & reading.

Getting warmer - Have been buying spring clothes - a brown suit at
Doyle's - two hats! a lace waist! a belt &c. &c.
