Silvernail and Mrs. Jacks (?) did most of making it. It looks very nice indeed. Nov. 22 Fri. Nice day - Wore my new suit and new waist. Lunched with G.C.B at Sibley's - Mr. Gilmore & Mrs. G. went to Spend Thanksgiving with Marjorie (at Smith). At 5:30 Lura & I went over to the "Y" & got our Mothers & Mrs. Olive & Kitty Crichton and nearly perished in the crush on the stairs and finally got supper. Then watched Mother sell rugs & slippers (to Mary Ward) &c. Saw Alice Colby and a lot more I knew. Lura, Mary Gridley and I had our palms read by Emma Curran Smith - Very interesting - I append the short hand notes,
Nov. 23 Sat. A lovely day. Did a lot a of Christmas shopping (!) Took a couple of pictures, I went to the Bijou Dream &c. &c. Had a chat with the girls in Scrantom's, Read & wrote and figured tonight. Nov. 24 Sun. Home this morning. Meta came over to tell me Amelie wanted me up to supper. In the afternoon I went. Got on the car with Jim & went on up to Cro'nest - Mr. & Mrs. Bacon were there too, having tea with Ethel Mundy. It was such a pretty room - and met people - I went down to Amelie's. Her house is all fixed over. The children were cantankerous but cute. We got supper - a nice one - apple
