"Great Divide" 9/11/08.
Mr. Jinarajadasa - the Hindu Theosophist- man, came to visit Claude today and tonight he had a lot of people up at Cro'nest to hear him talk. It was really fine & illuminating. I sat on the divan with Mrs. Button (Mal's Cazenovia friend) Mal, Papa & Dr. Witherspoon
(who was called away early) & Walter Arnold
. Dr. Daly & her circle were there, Mrs. Danforth & The Roger's "group" and Sid Roby
(who is engaged to Beatrice )
Walked home in the beautiful moonlight. I had a nice talk with Father about it. Sept. 9-10. Wed. - Thurs. Nothing special work &c. Coming home to lunch now. Miss McAffrey,
just home from Quebec spent one evening here. Sept. 11. Fri. To lunch with Mrs. Wilkinson and Mal (who goes tomorrow) & a nice visit went to (the "Great Divide"

) with Herma tonight. Rode down with Meta & Theo & up with Amelie & John. A brilliant audience & an interesting (but rather unconvincing) play. Perhaps it was the leading woman's fault. She was no good. Herma told her wedding plans. Sept. 12. Sat. Hurried right up to Cro'nest this p.m. Had a nice talk with Mrs. Cruthers at Ramsdell's as I passed. Found Kath, Harry, Claude, Letitia & the children & soon Dr. Daly came & we had a long & most interesting talk - an
