Dec. 10 Friday Snow stormy day. Came home at noon - cars very slow on account of slippery tracks. Looked at new magazines &c at night family in library. Dec. 11 Sat. I began carrying Xmas bundles (did up some last night.) To dressmaker's (Limerick on Cottage St.) at noon - no dinner! Dec. 10 Friday Lilian went to the Hospital today! It's tragic! The beginning of the end, we are all afraid. I am so sorry for Frank. She can't have another operation & they are giving her "treatment" &c. I lunched with Gilmore & Hanna

at the Whitcomb Rathscaller. &c we really had quite a jolly time. Fixed the third floor book case tonight. Dec. 11. Sat. Nice Christmas weather. Went to Wheeler- Green's
with John Frey this noon to select a 5-light fixture for living room. Carpets down tonight & curtains up. It looks fine. Dec 12 Sun Staid home all day & enjoyed the lovely new house. Busy of course in the morning and Letitia & the children came down this p.m. We all enjoyed it. Read this evening. Peter & Tinker very nice cats. John Church came over with the boys - & admired! Dec. 13. Mon. Frozen rain today. Lunched with Father at Sibley's & shopped. Busy, as usual, till late. Dec. 14 Tues. Dark Horrid weather, but better that yesterday. Mother Father & I lunched together at Sibley's & shopped. Went to Hippodrome tonight & then home & started on my room. Dec. 15 Wed Pleasanter & Channie's birthday! The dear. I gave him "Peter Rabbit" &c. Mrs
