Dec 20 Mon Went down to Bess's office and lunched with the girls today. Took some Charlotte Russes from Harneds - (Canteloupes are $1.50 each! Bank afterward. Raced Marguerite home I in car & she walking & she beat me! Very late to bed again. Dec. 21 Tues. Felt pretty "rocky" today. Lunched with Father & Mother at Sibley's & then Mother went out to Matie Hawley's to an Autumn Chapter meeting. I went to Hippodrome & then out to Miss Limerick's (Klem's dress- maker) to get my new dress fitted. Dear Lillian Davis is suffering terribly. Dec. 22 Wed. Snow stormy day. Looked at new magazines & did up bundles tonight. Dec. 23 Thurs. Began carrying down Christmas bundles. Went out to Miss Limerick's this noon & then tried to find a lost bundle for her at Sibleys - so had no dinner. To Cro'nest early, with Jim - to the "Chrissum Tree" as we call it. It was a beauty - each child had a little one at his plate, too & such a nice supper - & presents! Crawford and Goodloe (?) Barry were there and Billy & Jimmie Little & their nurses & Dr. Little came for them - Bessie & Mrs. Whittington & Mrs. [illegible] , too, & Minnie (who gave them lovely lead soldiers) Nero the big dog waited outside. James came down with Mother & me. Henry was rather "[illegible]" toward the last Jimmie Little was the Belle of the
