Fine today - about 40 degrees. Busy. Shopped with Edith's for "Perfects" tonight. Amelie
came over (in a new brown suit) made quite a visit.

A dull day. Went up to Cro'nest this
p.m. via. South Ave. ("the longest way round"). Had a long
talk with Char
who said I did her good and she'd like to have me live with her (!) Henry - sitting in his father's arms was a
picture - dear one. Wish I had it so.
Dec. 9. Mon.
A "soggy" day. Tonight Mother and I
went over to the Bride's (Milly's) They have a dear little flat and everything nice. They showed
us their wedding presents & fed us on wedding cake and tea.
John
is to be married I think next Thursday.

Mother went to the Autumn Chapter
and I to the cafeteria this noon. Had a jolly dinner with "Bobs" "Mary Belle"
and "Jacks
" called on Edith later.
