Nice day. Henry talked thro' the phone this
morning to Gran'ma. Sent his love to
Aunt Maisie a kiss to Gran'pa &c. Mother,
Father & Gertrude went to
church.
Dr. Miller's last Sunday. After dinner
G. & I went over to
Davis's to take Frances's
picture with a camera (for the contest) as arranged with Frank yesterday, but
Frances had just got to sleep and they
didn't want to wake her, so I shall have to wait till she gets back. We saw
her asleep. She looked sweet.
Lillian's sister Flo was
there. They are worried about Lilian again.
She looks bad but says she's "all right". Then went to Cro'nest & tho' it was late, I took a couple of
pictures of
Hemeny with the camera! Had a nice little
visit with Jo.Channie walked a little ways to me all alone.
Coming down Mother was with us & we
stopped in
E & B's
nursery grounds & looked at loads of roses - all in
their prime - beauties too.
June 28 Mon.
Still hot. Came home to lunch & tonight on the Spur of the moment,
Mother, Gertrude,
Mrs. Baker, Lura &
I went out to Maplewood
to supper - a good one, but not chicken, as a large party of women had all the
chicken
Mary Mosher & her husband & the [illegible]
were there - also a few mosquitoes - but we had real good time - quite
hilarious.
