Later we went down in her little room "H" and had lemonade and sandwiches. Mar. 13. Friday Slept fine after an hour or so and woke much refreshed at 6:30. A perfect morning. We went over to the "Maggie- Lou" with Mary to breakfast. Coming down thro' Union Square Seymour Burrell (fat and moustached) overtook us and told me Helen was at 22W. 16th! we went to Wanamaker's to write some letters and postals. Mary left us in the subway - after a bit of shopping -a stab at taking the "Rubberneck Wagon" (but didn't) we went down town called on Edith's cousin "Mort" on our Mr. Schanch in our office - went with Mort to see the curb market (stock exchange gallery was closed) went down to the aquarium and Battery (lovely salty air) and then meet Mort and went to the top of the Am. Tract Society Bldg.
