Beautiful day and lovely moonlight night.
Went to Claude's to dinner.
Saw both babies to bed. Henry
ran out in his little shirtie and kissed me so sweetly.
Oct. 4. Sunday
Lovely day. Took a long walk with
Alice Bradshaw - up the old
Scottsville
bicycle bath to the Ballantine road - over to the river and across the road
and down the East side thro' the park - about 8 miles. It was very
beautiful. We met Turkeys - & trains and apple trees and Canoes &c. &c.
She had her Brownie along but
Letitia is using my camera today. We only
rested once - when we got back to the park by the golf links (beyond the sheep!) & then only a few minutes. Got home
just in time for dinner (about 2:15) It took
Alice
20 min. longer to reach Belmont St.
(she telephoned) I took Papa's picture
in the side yard and persuaded
Mother to sit at her desk (but the picture
doesn't do her justice)Jack
is going to his mother in Canada to try and get well. I
