Feb. 9. Sun. A fine day as to weather. Letitia brought Hal done to see "Dramma" this p.m. He's such a dear. in his funny little bonnet. I got very restless and walked up to Cro'nest later (after a visit with Herma) Jim was there and my dear boy - trying to be cheerful and finding it hard. These Sundays must break my heart. & my poor boy! Walked down with Jim. He's so dear, too. Feb. 10 Mon.

A fine winter's day. J.W. in N.Y. trying to close the Metropolitan Tower order. I'm writing a speech for J.G. (Chamber of Commerce next Monday. City Beautification &c. introducing Prof. Chas. Zueblen)
Nellie Mac. came up for a visit tonight - with Emily's
pictures &c. Feb. 11. Tues. Claude went to Buffalo again - a perfect winter day. Went down to Seneca Park at noon - down on to the ice - and then walked out. It was beauteous. The misty gorge - the pure snow. The rabbit tracks and all. Wed Feb. 12 Miss Flack, Miss. McAffrey & I bowled one game tonight. 44-43-74 Mr. Kurtz was in. It's getting warmer. Thur. Feb. 13 Sloppy & horrid walking. Mrs. Gucker (the Aroix girl - in Mr. White's office &c. & Papa's friend) came up tonight and spent the evening. Fri. Feb 14 Got 5 valentines! Two post cards (Chat & Mary) an apron (Edith) drawers (Mother) and a pretty tie (Lura??) Lunched at the "Hen house" (as we now call the cafeteria) with "Bob" "Mary Belle" and "Jacques" Spencer. Had a full house bowling tonight - 12 of us. I didn't do extra well (68 high) and got
