Henry plodded ahead and walked up the right
steps - only having been there once before - early in the Fall! I had to go home
this noon & let Mother in as she'd locked
herself out. The Pringles are away!
Claude went to N.Y. tonight.

Sleepy day. Went to Dr. McIntie's
to have a gold inlay
which fell out put in again (7.00) because Dr. Scranton is very
sick with gall stones. I've been waiting for him but he doesn't recover. Went
to Sibley's afterward for Oyster stew &
shopped a little with Bess & Mary. Stopped at Marguerite's on the way home.

read to us tonight. Went to bed rather early.

Feel better today - nice winter weather. Lunched with
Mary& Bess & shopped
a little. Father not well.
Hamilton D. was here a long time and tired him. Accts. tonight.
Dec. 18. Sat.
Lunched down & shopped again today, but spent the evening setting my room.
Such lots of things!

Fine day. Did up bundles almost all day, but went over to
Marguerite's front steps and took the picture of our new
house. We have the left hand entrance and all the upstairs. The triple
windows are the living room & the boys'
room directly over it. Took some
Xmas things up to Cro'nest
this p.m. Julia
was taking care of the children & I didn't stay long. Very tired!
