The people in the house at present are Mr. & Mrs. Russell (host & hostess) Mr. & Mrs. Kasson (their daughters) Miss Goodyear. Mrs. Mabel G. Shone (of Rochester - a young widow teaching in the R. B. I) her two little girls Mabel & Ruth (8 & 6) Mr. & Mrs. Erastus N. Ely (Lawyer - Rochester) & son Larue (about 13) Mr. & Mrs. Stewart Mason (very young - in Eastman auditing dept.) & their baby "June Jeanette" (1 yr.) & Mr. Chas. J. Huerter (a young & jolly musician from Syracuse - who keeps everything "going" & plays beautifully) Mrs. Huerter (his mother) and Mrs. Cheseman (their friend - from Auburn - (gran?)) In the cottage are Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Batsford (of Syracuse - Franklin Automobile Co.) who came with us & Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Slosson "Bill" (5) and Margaret (3) - of the Roch. Telephone Co. Rochester. Mr. & Mrs. Gebhardt (a "Day store" girl & her mother) Mrs. Maguire & her son & his wife & Rochester, besides Klem (in the house) Trudy & I - 30 in all. Klem always got the prize - but Mrs. Huerter did & Larne Ely. We had a real jolly time too. 5 tables the refreshment was watermelon! Aug. 25 Wed. A hot morning. Found a lovely cool place under a tree on the bluff and spent the morning there, reading Scribner's, sewing, taking pictures, &c one was Mr. Kasson "mowing the lawn" & our cottage
