Mar. 29. Sunday

15 wks Chan. 12 lb 12 oz
Went to Cro'nest to dinner today with Fred W. Jo, and Jim around - Afterward tried to take Aunt Jo's picture with little Chandler, of whom she is very fond. He looked very sweet, but wouldn't keep still, Fred was very much pleased with little Hal - after- wards I went over to Davis' a little while visited with all of them - Mrs. D is very anxious the Bakers
should come up there for the summer, afterward I stopped with Lura at her house & talked to them about it. They certainly both need a change. Mrs. Penfield was there and talked a great deal as usual, She'd forgotten she had seen me since our Charlotte died and said it all over again, I read "Tyson's" later. Mar. 30. - Apr. 1. Mon-Wed Cold & raw & disagreeable. Finished "Tyson's" & read "Madonna of the Tea cups". Claude in Buffalo at the doctor's Tuesday - Mother at all day mission- ary meeting Wednesday - not much like Spring. Apr. 2. Thurs. Our new telephone - 4463 - was put in today - on the landing, with a cord to go up or down stairs - Fred Boyce brought his & sweet heart - Clara Lewis - over tonight. We played "flinch" etc. A regular Blizzard tonight! Apr. 3. Fri. Lunched with "Bob & Mame" at Sibley's & bought them roses afterward. Bowled again tonight, but Miss Flack had a "surprise party" for us of all her friends - so we took another alley. Later went with Mother & the Baker's
to the new Armory
to see Howe's
moving pictures - good. Was very tired!
