Edith& I walked down this morning. I lunched at Sibley's with Father and saw Ethel Mundy. Claude told me he had made me trustee of his life insurance ($6000 - two policies $5000 & $1000) for his boys. Father read tonight. Jan. 4. Sat. A horrid wet damp, cold disagreeable day. Harry came. Meta was over to- night for a nice little visit. She's a dear. Jan. 5 Sun. Cold today (about 10 degrees) I did all sorts of odd jobs - mostly turned the furniture about - today. After dinner went right up to Cro'nest, wiped the dishes for Eugenia
