He be- haved beautifully - & such a sweet nurse held him while I clipped a lock of his hair. The girls thought him lovely. Tonight I did my accounts for a year! Dec. 29 Sun. Lovely warm morning. I went up to Cro'nest and spent the morning with Jo sorting out dear Char's clothes. Most of them went to the girls - Louise, Mal, Jo & Kath, but some to me and the dear red suit and the shoes to Gertrude. It was a heart-rending thing to do - but fortunately short, as Josie only asked my assent to what she had decided - but it used me up for the rest of the day.
