that Char had done up two of Henny-penny's dear pictures for me from her and

Jim is the
dearest boy! And my Claude
a perfect wonder of a brother - a father and such
a husband. All the Wilkinsons say again and

never criticized her" - "Claude was" - well
everything lovely "sweet" dear Char called
him so often that night. I took a flying trip to
Cro'nest that noon - with some things we had
forgotten to give Claude. Then had dinner and
then
went over to the hospital to see my little Chandler. I kissed him today - and held him in my arms. He has
gained 5 oz.in a week! He's such a darling. When I got back Mother and I went over to Meta's by invitation, to see their presents &c. - so many.
Dear little Margaret came down, sleepy, in a
Kimono, looking so sweet. Little Johnny
Caroll
came over. Herma's
"Lyon" was there and
Frieda's friend "Nita". We had
coffee & cakes afterwards. Theo came
back with us & made
