Bausches got the prize - covered with white flowers,
doves, white gowned ladies &c. 16 of the Auto. club had "battle ships"
& did "evolutions". very clever indeed. Did accounts when I got home

Cro'nest to see my babies. Letitia came late.
Julia was giving them their supper when I came.

Had intended to go to Ma Wright's today,
but it snowed this morning & was very gloomy all day. We all went to
Cro'nest
to dinner Hemeny took Gran'mother out, & pulled out her chair for
her. He dressed himself this morning, too! Mother &
I stopped at Hebbards going down
& saw her Russell Is. pictures.

Lunched with Mother & Bess at Sibleys
& then saw about Mother's new bonnet.
Uneventful.

rather busy, showery. Went to Hippodrome.
Father is reading us "Ben Hur" aloud.
Oct. 28. Thurs.Frieda & Anita came over
tonight as "ghosts". They are getting ready for a halloween party,
Frieda's
engagement to Dr. Lels Leslie Weller is to be announced.

Fine & cold. Lunched with Bess &

Sibleys. Went to Henry'shalloween party (nearly over) at night &
Mother & I walked down with
Jim, by moonlight, after taking John
