Sept. 16 Thurs. Cooler. Cornice is going on the new Cutler Bldg addition. Hippodrome & Library tonight. Sept. 17 Friday. Fine day. Lunched with Bess & Mary at Sibley's & bought a new silk waist. Went to Cro'nest & supped with Nanna & the children. Read "Raggedy Man" to Henry. He loves it. Did accounts and sewed in the evening. Sept. 18. Sat. Fine cold day. Broke my glasses this noon (Bess hit my hand which held them) Hippodrome with Miss F. tonight & later read Sept. 19 Sun. "Together" Marguerite was over. Sunday fine Marg. & I went over to Mrs. Brace's Cattery this morning & saw the house too. It was quite interesting. She was wanted to sell me a blue kitten for five dollars "If I'd never tell" To Cro'nest this p.m. Letitia went away with her sister & Mother & I tended baby. Gladys, Monica & Jeanette Hayward came & I took their pictures with the boys. Then they went to the park & Mother & Channie with them & Henry & I had a nice time playing with blocks & cutting dolls &c. He was the dearest dear & wore his "ribbon" (he loves to wear hair ribbons & be a "Girlie") Sept. 20-21 Mon-Tues Wonderful. Claude still in Chicago Mother lunched down & looked at coats. Sept. 22 Wed Letitia sick today - a bilious attack Winnie came & Mother brought Henry home & he stayed all day - just as good. I stayed up there all night Letitia pretty sick & feverish this evening. Mrs. Ramsdell came to inquire & Winnie & I visited together.
