Sept 9. Thurs Cool & cloudy. Mother went for a drive with Henry - Chan. Adeline Ruliffson (& Letitia of course) Marguerite was over. She had a fine time. Sept 10. Fri Warmer. Nan gave me a shampoo at noon. Wrote & figured tonight. Sept 11. Sat. Kinda muggy - but nice never the less. We got up a sudden party down to Flack's cabin at the Bay (just above Corona Cliff). Miss Bradshaw, Miss Flack, Hanna

& I took the quarter of 5 car & May& Carol Flack joined us. Met Reg down there and Geo. Bridgman & his new wife
came on the next car. Reg took me in the canoe over to a store in one of the little bags to buy charcoal, get water &c. It was a nice little paddle. When we got back they built fires outdoors and in and put things to cooking - corn - sweet potatoes - coffee - sausages & such. When the meal was finally ready it was certainly fine & everybody ate so much! It was very jolly too & everybody good natured. We ended with musk melon & after the dishes were washed closed up & went up the dark dark hill by match-light. The Bride
& Groom
made the best of it. I was exhausted at the top & we missed a car & had to wait half an hour - saw a house burning up' way over on the St. Paul St. road. Got home betimes The boys did the cooking & certainly did well. Sept.12 Sun Not very pleasant. Made prints this am. Claude had a cold at Cro'nest. Mother & I took the children to the park (met the Bridgemans there) and I had supper with the
