Then went upon the bluff to view a most gorgeous sky-scape and sunset. I took a picture - but not at the best moment. I'm sorry to say - 10 minutes later would have improved it much. After supper everybody followed us to the bluff (mostly in couples) It was a gorgeous night finally the only ones left besides us were the Bride & Groom

& Mr. Huerter. We had a nice talk for an hour, perhaps & then went down to the house & Mr. H
played piano & organ to us - improvising. It was really delightful. The wind was still strong when we went to bed at 10:30 Aug. 30 Mon. Beautiful cool bright morning. Everybody off for somewhere. (Mr. Bats.

walked to East Bay yesterday) Trudy & I & Scottie (the dog) went down the lane & over the hill & along its ridge and skirted the cove to the Sheep! We saw - or rather heard first the people who had gone for the mail! Mr. H.
whistled to us across the marsh. My pictures were failures because of the film folding back on its self. The sheep - the bride & groom
this morning (be- headed) & the most entrancing view of flowers, fields water & clouds, from the hill top! It was so nice & cool we explored the woods again - which were charming - found an old woodland black with berries, & ate our fill & finally emerged up on the hill top.
