Lovely day. Henry at breakfast this a.m. looked out &
said "Isn't it Beautiful!"
June 22 Tues.
Still lovely. Lunched down town & tonight went with Mary Belle to see "Easy Money"
June 23 Wed.
Very hot. Walked down to the Library with
Marguerite tonight. Dolores
went off to Buffalo
to her Cousin's wedding. Frame of new Boston Flat is up.
June 24 Thurs.
Still very hot. Went over to Lura's a
little while. Claude's friends Mr. & Mrs. Sprague
of Buffalo dined at Cro'nest (came in their auto.)
June 25 Fri.
Very hot yet. Lunched with Mary
at Sibley's
& bought new blue chambray dress real pretty. Went over to the Empire
& met Trudy
today & then back to the office again. Spent the evening visiting with
her.
Chas. Willard was here an hour or so, but I didn't see him.
Marguerite was over.
June 26 Sat.
Lovely morning - but I had practically no sleep last night (what little I
did was in the attic!) This p.m. I dressed & Gertrude
& Marguerite & I took M's new brownie & went
down to the Pony
show in Seneca Park - also to the Swimming pool, a
walk thro' the woods &c. &c. Got home about dark & had
