quite so hard as the first. "Wednesday club" tonight.

Went up to Mrs. Weston's on Cypress
St. & had shirt waists fitted (in the rain)
tonight. Meta was over later. Read.

Rain turning to snow. Very bad in- deed. Friday still horrid as to weather.

Lunched with Bess at Sibley's & had a nice visit. She lent me another
of her hard little puzzles. Mrs. Weston's again tonight.

Weather a trifle better. Very busy at the office. J.G. is
simply a farce, in some things.. but is driving a hard bargain with the
Auto. Co. & "Kicks are coming". Went shopping with Alicia tonight. Zozie
back - missed him since yesterday a.m. He is in "hide-away" most of the time
nowdays.

romping with the babies. Started pasting their photo-books - but then walked
'way over thro' Goodman
with Claude. Went to
MacArthur's & saw little Emily
who goes to Syracuse
for the summer Tuesday. She's a cute little thing. Mr.
Whitten was here.

made for the Behn flats last night!

Cold. Went over to Marguerite's awhile
tonight. She says Edith Andrews is going to
Laconia.
