Nov. 23. Mon. Chattie has trouble with her heart now (too many Orangine powders!) Letitia is used up from lack of sleep & Claude has Mrs. Goodrich - a trained nurse - to relieve her for a week. She's resting at the Hahnemann Hospital. Chandler is better. Nov. 24-25 Tues-Wed. These days & yesterday pretty strenuous at the office as Gilmore is away & most that JG. does I have to do over again! Nov. 26 Thurs.

Thanksgiving Day and Herma's wedding. I dressed early & was there at quarter of eleven but Dr. Hallock was late so I was early - and Amelie lined up the 5 dear children with their big chrysanthemums & I took their pictures. They were dear. Got acquainted with Mrs. Williams who is very nice in- deed & quite "southern". Amelie looked beautiful in a lovely white Empire gown - in fact everybody looked nice. Frieda in a lovely blue satin Empire Embroidered in white & a huge bouquet of violets & maiden- hair fern. Amelie Herma never looked better in her life - her gown was sweet her veil very becoming and her bouquet exquisite. She & Lyons both did well (better than the minister, I thought) The 5 children walked in front (Margaret &Amelie each side of Donald and Dorothy & little Ruth
