Lunched with the Bess-Mame today at the
Cafeteria. They are dear girls. Got a new
game for Mother Saturday "Numerica" which we
tried. It is quite nice.
Nov. 12 Tues.
Lunched with Chattie at
Duffey's - a very nice lunch & a nice visit. Then went
to
Nov. 13. WedBolton's and ordered shoes. Wednesday was indeed the 13th at
the office - all sorts of bad business news. Tonight Edith stopped for me & we walked down together. MaryNellie & I called on Mrs.

Thompson (Duncan Lee's sister) up on
Mt. Hope Avenue
tonight. She is young and attractive and her baby a dear. Saw a lovely photo-
graph of Mrs. Lee, Boardman &

It was windy and wintry and cold.
Henry had his first real professional
photographs taken today - by Williams
up at the house. I lunched with
Papa at Sibley's and tonight Lura
invited Mother & me home to dinner
with her. Had a very nice time - Played
flinch and Numerica &c. &c. (Rather late)

Saw Henry's proofs today - 17 of them
(many far from satisfactory) went to dentist's and to be fitted at noon and
tonight we four from the office went to see Sothern from the top
gallery. It was most harrowing and very long! but
after all wonderfully well done.

Fine morning. Mr. Kylie walked up with me. I lunched down
at Sibley's
