July 6. Sat. Up at 6:30 and left before many of the girls came down. All but Myra
 and the Captain leave today. Busy morning. Schanch here. Gilmore just leaving on his vacation. Claude & Char got back yesterday after a good time at Dansville. Wrote, ironed, settled fussed, dressed & read this p.m. "Its good to be home" - Zozie purrs almost constantly - Mrs. Rowe called. Didn't go up to the Park celebration tonight, as I rather planned to - but went & got some ice cream just before bed time. July 7. Sun. Warmer & sunny but nice & with a breeze. Home all day - made prints and so on - finished "Joseph Vance" - a dear book. Wrote a long time thro' p.m. "a lazy life". July 9 Tues.

Busy yesterday & today. Gilmore away. Theo's birthday 07/10 Lunched with "Bess" & "Mame" today at Sibley's & gave them showed them the pictures, which pleased them. Mother had the October chapter of all ladies here today. Went over to Nellie Mac's tonight. We tried to call on Mabel, but she wasn't home. Nice day - fine weather now - Miss Flack went to Keuka on her vacation. Mr & Mrs Rowe came over to spent rest of the evening. July 11. Thurs. Pouring rain all day. Met the girls at the California at lunch. Then went to the P.O. & saw Chattie. Over to Meta's this evening. July 12 Fri. Rain this a.m. but cleared up fine. Lunched with Papa at Sibley's & then went to Nan's to have my hair done. Went to Lura's to dinner and took her to see
