Surrounded by the family - including Claude & Char and the cats. We had a lovely pudding and a lovely time. It lasted all the evening (with ice cream & cake) Mother gave me "Collier's" (among other things) and Zo & Zen each 20 car fares! Char & Claude hfks,

and an original Penfield sketch. &c. &c. good time. Dec 24 Sun. Colder and a little more like Xmas - faint flurries of snow. Fixed cranberries & tended turkey this a.m. Also saw the twins'
doll house & the Behn's presents in the evening) Mrs. Allen came to dinner and Clarence Jones from Claude's office.) They seemed to enjoy it and were very nice. Mrs. Allen went to p.m. service at 4 & Mr. Jones sat by the fire & listened to the music box & talked Georgian Bay &c. Mary came (with presents) as he was going and before she went, Hamilton. He said my last plan of the hotel was "fine". Had quite a little visit. In the evening Lura and Laura came (with presents)! After they had gone we had supper (about 9:30 & I finished the new Mc Clure & wrote. Mrs. Hoyt invited me to dinner tomorrow. Dec 25. Mon. A fine day, colder and dry. We had Xmas all over again after breakfast - opening non family packages. Lovely things from everybody. Chattie
