Mar. 14 Wed. The Marconi man (Van Etten) came to see me for an hour or so. Found out all about it. Read and played flinch later. Mar. 15 Thurs. Lunched down town with the girls - (not Tuesday, as stated) and walked down town & met Mother - going to Susan B Anthony's funeral, Kitty Thornton, here with the "Ben - Hurs" came in with Miss MacDonald (another dancer). She's to lunch with me tomorrow. Mar. 16 Fri. Still Stormy. Kitty Thornton lunched with me at Sibley's and told me lots of funny things about "behind the scenes", "One real camel and two props" &c.&c. Tonight Edith& I went up to MacArthur's & played pedro till rather late. Had chocolate & wafers &c. Mar. 17. Sat. J.G. wore a shamrock too today. Am going home early to lunch now - and working hard. Met Kitty T. at 5. Shopped and lunched with her at Sibley's and staid with her till time to go to the theatre - 7:30. Then went to Scrantom's & finally home. Couldn't get a single seat for "Ben Hur". Early this morning Edith Andrews came & went to ate break- fast with me on her way home for Easter vacation, but 10 days early on account of being threatened with rheumatic fever. She went on at 9:35. Claude went to Albany.
